Resumo: The Organizational and Work Psychology (POT) faces challenges and concerns towards the complexity in the world of work, in which the worker can feel vulnerable in the face of such demands and complex changes that are experienced. The human work experience is characterized as potential for the development of skills, creation of affective bonds and personal satisfaction, in addition to the basic function of providing subsidies to guarantee material survival. Individual differences, their desires, anxieties, expectations, as well as understanding why a given context or activity can stimulate an individual and not others, are topics of great interest to society and to work management. The current Covid19 pandemic has greatly changed the way in which labor relations take place, created new configurations and compulsory inserted the modality of emergency remote work. In this perspective of overcoming new challenges in the world of work, Positive Psychology presents itself as a paradigmatic change in the way of understanding the worker, in which the virtues, strengths and potentialities act as auxiliaries in facing adversities, contemplating studies on happiness, engagement, capital psychological wellbeing and flourishing at work. Since such elements are valuable for people's health and for achieving the institutions' results, there is an interest in investigating how personal reforces (psychological capital) can be related to productive behavior and impact the flourishing of workers. Flourishing at work in adverse conditions becomes the great challenge faced by organizations and people managers. The aim of this study was to describe the impact of the relationship of individual resources measured by psychological capital on the ability to flourish at work. Mediation analysis was performed by testing a hypothetical conceptual model specifically established for the present research, aiming to highlight the mediational power of engagement and satisfaction in emergency remote work in the relationship between psychological capital and flourishing at work. The research took place through a survey with a quantitative approach, of the survey type, involving 249 public servants (educational administrative technicians and teachers) of a Federal Institute of Education in the Brazilian Midwest. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire via the Google Forms®️ platform, covering items referring to sociodemographic/professional data and level of (dis)satisfaction with emergency remote work, as well as standardized scales to measure Engagement in the Work (UWES9); Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ12) and Flowering at Work Scale (EFLOT). For data analysis, the SPSS®️ and AMOS®️ statistical analysis programs were used. Analysis of the results indicated positive and significant correlations between psychological capital, engagement, satisfaction with emergency remote work and flourishing at work. It was observed that individual resources can act as protective factors in unusual and challenging situations, such as the one created by Covid19, although the satisfaction and experience of wellbeing involve individual contexts and conditions. Based on these results, it is evident the need to carry out research that contemplate other variables in the understanding of the flourishing and experience of wellbeing at work. Therefore, it is expected that the analyzes carried out will foster organizational practices that aim at workers' health and promote healthy, pleasant, and fruitful workspaces. The study of the variables defined in the present research will be able to elucidate the potentialities and the positive aspects related to the work performance of the servers, collaborating in the elaboration of actions and programs that aim at the perception of the wellbeing and the flourishing at work in the public service.
