Resumo: The objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional and productive response of dairy cows fed diets with protein sources: beans byproduct (SPF), soybean meal (SPS), sunflower meal (GSP) and cottonseed meal 38% CP ( SPA). The diets were formulated to be isonitrogenous. Eight cows crossbred (Holstein x Gir), with an average production of 14.85 ± 3.28 kg milk/day, between 60 ° and 90 days of lactation and average weight of 500 ± 60.33 kg. The animals were divided into two Latin squares (four treatments x four periods), and maintained in an area of 5 ha divided into 10 paddocks of 0.5 ha.The pasture was managed under rotational stocking with occupation period of three days. The experiment lasted fifteen days. There treatments SPS had higher dry matter intake (11.29 kg/day). There was no difference (P> 0.05) for all the apparent digestibility coefficients evaluated for the treatment SPF and SPS. In relation to the productive performance SPA treatments and SPF showed lower results for both milk production (14.97 and 12.11 kg/day). While use of byproduct beans implies reduced production, there was no change in the quality of milk produced.
