Resumo: ABSTRACT Reflecting on A'uwe U'pitabi is to have the centrality that their existence, culture, conceptions of the world, of life and of human being are rooted in living in common, in interdependence with nature, in the collective possession of land and the means of production, associated production, collective management of the work process, ecological experience, customs and community history. Thus, we study the processes of production of the existence of A'uwe U'pitabi - Mato Grosso, whose area was recently reintegrated by FUNAI, after serving the interests of agribusiness and exhausting the collective assets of nature in all possible ways. Our study is based on Dialectical Historical Materialism, since this method proposes to go beyond apparent reality and seeks to unravel the contradictions behind appearances. What is sought to investigate are the several aspects directly related to the production of existence (material and immaterial life) that denote the relationship systems and tensions between the subjects and the various circumstances involved. They resist and struggle, therein lies their social, political and cultural relevance; are interdependent with nature, at the same time as it is resistance to the logic of the capitalist mode of production that is oppressive to them, not ignoring that it is inserted in that context. Labor is ontologically necessary for the development and humanization of men and women, but as the capitalist system has it, it can not fulfill this function. Despite the years of expropriation and persecution, these people have work as an educational principle and materialize their existence through the associated work and the valorization of the knowledge produced by the experience that are passed down from generation to generation. The research was carried out with A'uwe U'pitabi Marãiwatsédé / Madzabdzé, located in the municipality of Bom Jesus do Araguaia-Mato Grosso.
