Resumo: This study entitled: Public Education and Teachers’ formation in the development of their career: The Memory of the Pedagogy Course agreement 035/94, under the eyes of their graduates, was carried out in the Master course of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Mato Grosso. It aims to understand and register the memory of the Course of Pedagogy / UFMT agreement 035/94. The development of the discussions counted on the theoretical and methodological support according the perspectives of Halbwachs (1990), Bosi (1994) and Ricouer (2007) who conceive memory as research source. The authors Nóvoa (1995), Marcelo Garcia (1999), Hypólito (2009), Catani et al. (1997) among others, mainly contributed for the understanding, as well as, the theoretical support for the category of research on teacher’s formation. The research counted on 16 teachers from the Pedagogy course, agreement 035/94, 03 professors from the same course and 03 participants of the Interagency Working Group (IWG) as participants. This study intends to contribute for the registration of the contributions coming from the implementation and accomplishment of the course of Pedagogy agreement 035/94 such as: increase of the index IDEB in the school units where the studied graduates act, improvement of the working conditions occurred according to the guidelines of the Plans for job posts, careers and wages, as well as, the Law of Democratic Management which provided more autonomy to the schools. Based on these aspects, it is possible to observe that, presently, the public education system of Baixada Cuiabana counts on all the teachers of the initial grades graduated at the undergraduate level, evidencing the goal established in the Interinstitutional Program of Teacher’s Qualification implemented in the 90's.
