Resumo: .Guided by an approximation of music with semiotics by C. S. Pierce, this dissertation aims to introduce intersemiosis with an epistemological start towards musical creation. Intersemiosis is the axis that leads translation and signal articulation among different systems (verbal, visual and audible ones), including interaction considering different approaches of art with music, dance, performing arts, cinema, literature, and others. There have been established some lines of convergence of esthetics, semiotic, theories of communication and information, linguistics, composition and analysis of music, what enables the reader multiple ways to the understanding of the theme. The study raises some examples of contemporary musical creation, like those that are based on conceptual displacements, in which the composer, from an existing concept or theory, seeks to maintain material, structural and conceptual resemblance with music; the use of procedure of intertextuality, in which the composer takes musical or extramusical as a reference, looking forward to determine a dialogic interdependence; the transductions made by technologies in pursuit of converting, for instance pictures or gestures in sounds, mathematics calculus in music, not to mention other examples.
