The present work intends to analyze the concept of narrative in Walter Benjamin. Based on the need to understand how Benjamin understood the concept of narrative, I considered it important to analyze the works cited by the author himself in the essay "The Narrator - considerations on the work of the writer Nikolai Leskov”. Also the analysis of the concept of experience [Erfahrung] and how this is related to the traditional narrative, it was fundamental for the comprehension of its transmittability from the orality, providing that teachings and practices are constitutive of the listener's life. Appears, the need to direct a new look at the narrative and the experience aiming to find new meanings in the time of now.
