Resumo: | This study refers to a research in physics teaching. We present the oriented debates in the classroom, in the context of Active Learning, extending the discussions mediated by virtual resources hosted on the internet. The use of this technique aims group discussions the VLT - Veículo Leve sobre Trilhos (LVR - (Light Vehicle on Rail) – under construction in Cuiaba, MT. We develop contents about Cinematics, Dynamics and Energy with emphasis on the relationship between these issues and the LRV. The work has been developed since the first half of 2013, with students from the 1st year of high school at the State School André Luiz da Silva Reis in Cuiabá, MT. The application of active learning activities with issues related to the daily lives of students, before and not after the content taught, results in a deeper learning and understanding. Oriented discussions encourage students to strive actively on the learning process and to think critically about what they are doing. As a teaching tool it can help teachers create and/or modify their strategies to improve the quality of education. The results of our survey indicate an increase in students interest and improvement of the performance of learning physics in comparison to the conventional method. |
