Resumo: | Most of the didactic history materials used in Basic Education still follow the traditional historiographic aspect, in which the narrative is presented in a chronological, factual way, prioritizing the heroic character of characters, who are usually white men, colonizers. Mentions of women are rare, and when they exist, they are normative and emphasize characteristics commonly considered “masculine” such as physical strength, bravery, and courage. Mato Grosso's historiography is no exception to the rule, giving even less prominence to women on the fringes of society, such as enslaved Africans, indigenous women, prostitutes, etc. Thus, the present work seeks to reflect on a teaching proposal of the History of Mato Grosso from the biography of women who were and are part of it. The main objective is to diversify the studies on the subject, taking a new historiographical perspective to the school environment and opting for a less usual approach. It is important to emphasize the decolonial tendency of the study, which also seeks to reach the history of women who belonged to less privileged social spheres of the societies in which they were inserted. As a final result of the work, an alternative/complementary educational material was produced with 10 biographies of women from Mato Grosso, easily accessible and that will support the teachers of the basic education network of Mato Grosso. |
