Resumo: The present essay has the goal to analyse five didactic books collections, recommended to History teaching, acoording to Didactic Book National Programm (PNLD, in Portuguese) 2011, trying to understand related issues to the insertion of regionals aspects into the con-tents that will be ministered at Elementary School. The used methodology on mapping, selection and location of collections consists in the review of the material from the selected fonts, like in the exemplo from the CHARTIER (1990), MOREIRA (2011), CHOPPIN (2004) study proposals, understanding that the texts production is directly linked to the holders that are read. The argument about use and production of the didactic books in con-temporaneity comes back to be relevant, considering governmental initiatives and guidanc-es to encourage the choice and use of this material in all contry schools (MOREIRA and SILVA, 2011). These initiatives have being conducted by Education Ministry, through the production and routing of guides programs to conduct this choice – PNLD – ally to the dai-lyy practices that, trying topublic schools, strengthen, to the teachers, its use and to the re-searchers the need to discuss its appropriation forms. The same authors say the need to promote research about didactic books at History Graduate School, reaching only 30% re-searches, that in their analysis, are concentrated on Southeast Region (MOREIRA and SILVA, 2011), and this fact assigns responsability to the Midwest Region to fills this grap. Inserted in the conerns about History teaching and the use of the instruments that enable knowledge acquisition like this nature, the review indicates some silence on approach of contents associated to region themes -Mato Grosso and South Mato Grosso -. According to the hypothesis that guides this work, it concludes that, most of the time, the History didactic books do not contemplate themes that refers to the locals that they are, creating the impres-sion that historical knowledge passes only on national forum questions. An evaluation analysis from this material becomes indispensable to this teacher support tool promotes the teaching favorably.
