From the approximation of Mesolithic man to the animal, the process of domestication began. Along with the protection offered, the skin, bone and animal milk became part of the human routine. Currently, the national position in milk production and consumption assumes a significance that is not reflected in the social reality with regard to technical knowledge about this raw material, since, despite growing, the number of dairy producers has markedly reduced . In high schools, the textbook, the main teaching tool used by teachers, present a limited approach to the subject. being insufficient to meet the needs of students on the subject. Milk is part of the Brazilian social reality and this is also noted in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul for its large rural population, the promising development of the dairy economy and the teaching proposals of the new BNCC focused on projects, regionalization and significance. In order to describe the approach to the milk topic in the PNLD/2018 books and develop a teaching tool to fill the gaps found about identification and nutrition aligned with this product, from the perspective of Chemistry, this work finds affinity with the concepts of Jerome Bruner's learning theory, to support studies of a qualitative nature, which were carried out through bibliographical research. The 06 (six) collections in 03 (three) volumes that participated in the Textbook Guide/2018 were evaluated from the perspective of the "Theoretical-methodological assumptions of teaching Chemistry", which is a classification criteria for the inclusion of the textbook in the GLD. As a complementary part of this analysis, a mental map was produced based on the transcription of questions formulated in the 03 (three) years of high school teaching at Colégio Militar de Campo Grande (CMCG) from 2017 to 2019 and under the prism of Buzan's studies . By using the analysis of PNDL/2018 textbooks, it was established that the analysis of realities in a learning environment, be it the classroom or laboratory of schools, on the topic of milk, has a possibility of relevance in discussing numerous concepts of knowledge of chemistry. Studies on the topic of milk were presented as a teaching product, having as its origin this master's thesis. Keywords: Milk, textbook, projects |
