Resumo: |
This study aimed to explore the pedagogical use of podcasts, seeking to answer the following question: What happens when we use podcasts in an outreach activity with mathematics teachers and students in teacher training programs? To address this question, this research examined the production and use of a podcast in an outreach setting with mathematics teachers and students in teacher training. Data were collected both synchronously (through discussions on Google Meet) and asynchronously (via Google forms). Based on the qualitative analysis of video accounts and through questionnaires, it was concluded that the podcast, as part of a pedagogical proposal, has the potential for students and teachers to take on authorial roles and produce digital content that expresses their learning, realities, and worldviews. Moreover, it was found that the use of podcasts promotes changes in the classroom, especially since podcasts are currently on the rise and becoming quite popular in mainstream culture, facilitating the interest and acceptance of young people in using and interacting with it. However, the research also highlights limitations concerning the tool's use, particularly when applied in the field of Mathematics. |
