Resumo: ABSTRACT This study investigastes the underground rock in Campo Grande, its trajectory and caractere of the real “do it yourself”. The study aims to understand this universa through its vistora and by the testimonies of groups envolver. Initially, the Word analyzes, from a historical perspective, the first contacts of the style switch Campo Grande’s youth. In another moment, the objective is to understand how a youth with little musical theoretical knowledge and no support, but yet ecstatic with the genre, organizes and promotes the rock movement that persistes to the present days. Therefore, this study presents a narrative that involves the movement’s construction process, its bands, fights and strategies and how it’s currently practiced. It is in this universe of sound, human and social relations that this theme approaches the underground environment of Campo Grande’s rock’n’roll. KEYWORDS: Rock; Underground; Bandas
