Resumo: |
Extractivism and agriculture were analyzed in the composition of Brazilian international trade. Through a descriptive exposition of comparative procedures with the aid of charts, tables, figures and graphs, specifically, the literature on a developmental approach to productive qualities and economic complexity was reviewed; the products and economic sectors most exported and imported by the Brazilian economy were indicated, as well as those in which the greatest comparative export advantage was obtained, highlighting extractivism and agriculture; the position of the Brazilian economy in the current International Division of Labor was presented. A periodized time frame was adopted in two parts, from the years 1964 to 1994, and from 1995 to 2022. It was considered that the changes that occurred in the productive patterns of the Brazilian economy in international trade, especially those arising from the greater insertion of extractivism and agriculture, have positioned it in a leading position in the agricultural commodities market, however, also in a location on the geopolitical, socioeconomic and spatial-productive periphery. |
