Violence against women is a serious social and global problem that affects women of all ages, races, religions, and social classes. It can occur in different ways, contexts according to the dynamics of the relationship between couples. This research aims to analyze the curriculum and cultural pedagogy of the artifact “Cycle of Violence Against Women”, according to residents of the Brazil-Bolivia border. It refers to a qualitative study with a semi-structured interview script. The interviews were carried out with six women from the municipality of Corumbá and Ladário. The introduction presents a brief consideration on violence against women. In the second chapter, the literature review is presented. In the third chapter, the theoretical framework and methodology are exposed, with notes on the relationships between the researcher and the presentation of the interlocutors. In the fourth chapter, the artifact, the Maria da Penha Law, the phases of the “Cycle”, the curriculum and pedagogy produced by the artifact are discussed. It is concluded that the artifact of the Cycle of Violence has a curriculum and cultural pedagogy, in terms of violence against women, related to power relations between women and men.
