Resumo: |
Sugarcane is traditionally cultivated by planting in furrows using stems, however, the use of pre-sprouted seedlings associated (PSS) with an appropriate arrangement can improve productivity. This study evaluated changes in biometric indices, productivity and quality of sugar cane in the cane cycle, influenced by planting arrangements associated with types of seedlings. The experiment was installed in the alcohol plant Cerradinho Bio, in 2014 and conducted until 2019, being evaluated third, fourth and fifth cuts respectively. The experiment consisted of a completely randomized block design with four replications, in a strip scheme. The treatments consisted of the arrangements in double beds with stems, double with MPB at 0.50 m, double with MPB at 0.75 m, triple beds with stems, triple with MPB at 0.50 m and triple with MPB at 0.75 m. Biometric indices (stem height, stem diameter, number of stems per meter and mass of 10 stems), productivity (tons of stems per hectare) and sugar cane quality (purity, fiber, Brix, Pol and recoverable total sugar). There were no changes in biometric characteristics and consequently there was no impact on productivity. The use of pre-sprouted seedlings in the implantation of sugarcane does not affect the productivity of tons of stalk per hectare in the third, fourth and fifth cut. The technological characteristics of ratoon cane are not affected by the planting arrangement or seedlings type. |
