Resumo: |
The objective of this research was to implement a web application with a database to store the services provided at the Casa do Migrante (Casa), an important facility for the Social Welfare of the Municipality of Corumbá-MS for international migrants passing through this city. The research proposed to organize the collection of information, improving its organization and promoting improvements in the governance of data on international migration at the border. The importance of modernizing and digitizing administrative processes was highlighted in order to improve the treatment and security of sensitive information of the migrants served. The concern with the security and management of data at the Casa became evident in this research, since it is an environment that works with sensitive information. Significant problems were also identified in the current paper registration system, including physical risks associated with the deterioration of documents and data management, with regard to the difficulty of quick and accurate access to information. This analysis supported the proposal for a digital system that could centralize and organize data in a safer and more efficient manner. The integration of multidisciplinary teams and institutions identified in the research, particularly through Migrafron, was also highlighted as a relevant aspect. The proposed interinstitutional and interdisciplinary collaboration is an effective strategy for addressing the complexity of the migration phenomenon in border regions. |
