Resumo: |
The world scenario has been transformed with the spread of the new coronavirus, called SARS-CoV-2, which causes Covid-19, mainly due to its ability to spread rapidly geographically. This unique context generated major challenges, such as facing the health crisis in Primary Health Care and providing assistance to fragile users who depend on the assistance of third parties. This research has a descriptive and exploratory quantitative and qualitative approach, based on data collected at a family health unit in the city of Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. receive medical-hospital supplies for use at home, which make up the sample for convenience. To organize the data, the technique of the Discourse of the Collective Subject, by Fernando Lefèvre and Ana Maria Lefèvre, was used, and the analysis took place from the perspective of the historical-dialectical materialist method from the point of view of the singular-- particular-universal. Thus, the results obtained indicate that there is still a predominance of female caregivers (73.3%) in response to the Brazilian culture. Among these caregivers, there are also elderly people, due to the increase in life expectancy. With regard to the users whose caregivers are the object of the research, it was evident that they make use of medical insurance and private consultations due to the difficulty of access, via SUS, to professionals from various categories, such as physiotherapy and orthopedics, among others. Furthermore, all of them should have the assistance of a palliative care team via the Family Health Strategy. Around 20 million people no longer have access to medicines through Farmácia Popular do Brasil due to the fall in the budget allocated by the Federal Government to the program in the last decade. It is concluded that coping with the pandemic in Brazil was deficient. The incidence and mortality numbers made Brazil an epicenter of the disease and the lack of knowledge about it caused a lot of suffering, both for health professionals and for formal and informal caregivers, especially family members who provide assistance and cannot count on with no assistance or social security benefits for their own subsistence. In this sense, it is essential to implement the National Care Policy in Brazil and that, in it, the participation of FHS professionals in the training of caregivers is advocated. Despite the chaotic pandemic context, all the physical, mental and from overload, caregivers have been learning, feeling satisfaction in the act of caring, and going out in search of the rights of their assisted ones.
