Resumo: This research has as its context the performance of the MST in the state of Pará and, as a focus, the mystique of the MST, adopted as a pedagogical training instrument. We adopt the hypothesis that, as conceived, through training practice-action, it plays a fundamental role in the process of cultural, political and social formation of its camped and settled social subjects, consolidating a new identity in the struggle for land possession in the Pará peasantry. Within this context and guided by this hypothesis, this dissertation seeks to investigate the role of mysticism and its languages in cultural formation, with regard to politics and education, amidst the social practices of and in the Landless Rural Workers Movement – MST. The MST, therefore, highlights itself in the struggle against the concentration of land in Pará. The investigation is limited to the study of the mystique during the period of the Oziel Alves Pereira Landless Youth Pedagogical Camp in Curva do “S”, the place where the Massacre of Eldorado dos Carajás – PA took place on April 17, 1996. The research has the general objective of understanding, using the theoretical and methodological tools of discursive semiotics, the process of sociocultural, political and educational formation based on the mystique proposed by the MST. We aim, specifically, to analyze the mystique and formative practices concerning the 16th Oziel Alves Landless Youth Pedagogical Camp held in April 2022 as well as to define the mystique and its languages as a political pedagogical instrument in the process of cultural formation of the social subjects of the MST. The semiotic analysis of mysticism and its languages as social practices is outlined based on research in archives and interviews related to editions of the aforementioned camp as well as through observation in the camp of the edition held in April 2022. The analysis was methodologically based on discursive semiotics, having as a base the mystic analysis through the formative and social practices of the MST during the 16th Oziel Alves Pereira Landless Youth Pedagogical Camp. The research corpus comprises the records of the 1st and 16th editions of the pedagogical camp, contained in the archives of the MST-PA State Secretariat, as well as interviews and observations of the formative practices of mysticism in the 2022 edition. We highlight as expected results from the research that mysticism through formative practice-action, like conceived by the MST, plays a fundamental role in the process of cultural, political and social formation of its camped and settled social subjects, which, based on mysticism and its language adopted as a pedagogical instrument for effective formation, creates a new identity in the struggle for land ownership in the peasantry of Pará. The result of the research, through analysis, allows us to understand that the MST is a formative – pedagogical social subject that, with its practice of mysticism, proposes the social, political, cultural and educational formation of the Landless in camps and settlements as well as during the collective youth experience at the Oziel Alves Pereira Landless Youth Pedagogical Camp.
