Resumo: Environmental Education (EE) is an educational process that consists of changing individuals and groups of individuals in relation to everyday attitudes that influence and alter our environment. Geography, on the other hand, is a science that deals with the processes and social-spatial relations that occur in geographic space. Both knowledges are associated when the issue is to preserve the environment. Considering that this knowledge is taught in schools, which, in turn, are ideal spaces for the dissemination of knowledge and human formation, the general objective of this research was to analyze how municipal and state schools in Três Lagoas/MS, work Environmental Education applied to the teaching of Geography, and also how it is developed in some schools outside Três Lagoas. In this work, we interviewed Geography teachers from the municipal and state schools of Três Lagoas - MS, and other municipalities in the states of Mato Grosso do Sul and São Paulo. The teachers answered two online forms, the first one about Environmental Education in Geography Teaching and the second one about the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in teaching, especially during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic. It is worth saying that this second form was applied with the intention of knowing how ICT's are used by teachers in the classroom, and how they can help in the teaching of EE in Geography. The methodology used here involved reading and analysis of bibliographic and didactic materials and the application of forms via Google Forms, as well as a visit to two schools in the city of Três Lagoas, one municipal and the other state, in order to see in loco, how Environmental Education is being taught in Geography classes, and if these schools have Environmental Education projects, as well as physical structure and a body of volunteers for their development. The results indicated that the Geography teachers are looking for different and dynamic methodologies to relate the themes of the environment to the teaching of Geography from the point of view of Environmental Education. Moreover, ICT's have helped them in this process, because it is through them that there is a facilitation in the search for reading materials and various teaching methodologies that can be found on the Internet through access on cell phones, tablets and notebooks.
