This dissertation has as its object of analysis the relationship between the institutionalization of children and adolescents and the right to Education. Its general objective is to investigate the volume and characteristics of these thesis and dissertations produced on the relationship between care institutions and school in post-graduate education programs in the field of Education. The hypothesis of the study is that the approach of this relationship is not a recurring theme in post-graduate programs in the Education Area. The research is constituted as a bibliometric study. Data were collected in Master's Dissertations and Doctoral Theses in the scope of Education programs, between 1996 and 2021 in the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Bank and in the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT). Official websites of agencies responsible for childhood and adolescence were also consulted, such as the National Council of Justice - CNJ, National Adoption System - SNA and Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE to understand the current situation of this population in a shelter situation. |
