Resumo: | his thesis presents the historical organization and meaning of “Discoteca Oneyda Alvarenga”, as well as the work of the institution in terms of building processes of incorporeal cultural heritage, showing their originality and innovation in musicological and ethnographic collections. The constitution of the ethnographic collection, in unconventional recorded support, was created as a result of travelings and studies sponsored by the Folklore Research Mission along side with other pioneering works in Brazil, which inaugurated the scientific research projects dedicated to Brazilian culture. All materials collected by the Mission were organized by Oneyda Alvarenga and are available to public consultation at the “Discoteca Oneyda Alvarenga”, in the city of São Paulo, at São Paulo exhibition center. The discussion of this issue in the realms of Information Science aims to highlight the importance of knowledge production and information concerning the maintenance and management of unconventional collections, emphasizing aspects related to cultural heritage, folklore and audiovisual collection in order to generate reflection and further discussion in the area. The main goals of this work are: to describe Mario de Andrade's and Oneyda Alvarenga's historical proportion concerning the concept of cultural heritage; to analyze the theoretical references which are involved in understanding incorporeal cultural heritage in Brazil; to identify informational relations established by the "Discoteca" and their consequences for the present informational work regarding the recording of incorporeal culture. It's been highlighted that knowing and disseminating works previously produced not only allow us to count, nowadays, with a set of experiences to be analyzed and taken as references for new enterprises but mostly as tool of action. |
