Resumo: Most of the South American Communist Parties were founded after the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the formation of the Communist International (1919-1943). Since it began, the South American communists parties, have organized the schools for training cadre focused directly on political education of their members. Its also have built centers, foundation, and institutes connected directly to studies and social, economic, political, and cultural research in order to, among many aims, support and subsidize the theoretical, political, and cultural training of their members, sympathizers, and participating affiliates, in touch with intellectuals and researchers, contributing to program formulation, strategies, and party tactics. Apart from developing political training activities, the South American Communist Parties present educational formulations and proposals, act in the field of education and in the world of work and rely on various instruments of agitation and propaganda. The problem related to the Communist Parties and education has been undestading as an important theme nowadays given the historical trajectory and the influence of communists in this field. The purpose of this research was to analyze as schools for training cadre of these revolutionary parties. We used as a central theoretical reference, the analyses elaborated by Karl Marx (188-1883), Friedrich Engels (1820- 1895), V.I.U. Lenin (1870-124) and other authors on the creation of a revolutionary party, presenting its dialectic with education. The methodology used was the readings and systematization of documents, resolutions and publications of parties, civil servants' schools, institutes and centers related to training and education. We identified, presented and analyzed several formative and educational actions developed by the Communist Parties of South America, either through their institutions (schools, centers, foundations and institutes), or through their educational formulations and proposals, through their work in unions and students conect to education and its instruments of agitation and propaganda. In the revolutionary tradition of communist parties, party education plays a central role in the construction of these organizations. Using the comparative analysis, we highlight the limits, possibilities and challenges of the actions developed by communist parties in South America in relation to education.
