Resumo: | The world interactivity contextualizes, among other things, the computer system ability of interaction, but its importance is not the technology itself. Interactive Computer Art presents itself as a fertile field for experimentations aiming to enlarge concepts of communicationbetween humans and computers. This model of artistic production recaptures arguments about creativity, expression, technique, science and interdisciplinary and presents new paradigms on technology and art.The most important characteristic of Interactive Computer Art is its flexibility to manipulate digital code. Observer, authors and even the computer have responsibility for the flow of actions during the interactive experience. Once perceptive results, such as visual, audible ortactile only occur when communication exists between developed computer systems and observers, this model of computer art with open code differs from others when requiring physical actions. However, computers and human beings are not able to communicate directly. Seeing as how computer language is not understandable to the later, an interface is necessary to maintain a relationship. Once it provides communication between humans and computer systems, aninterface is responsible to translate information to distinct poles, and it is the manifestation of the whole process. This research presents a theoretical and practical study about Interactive Computer Art. This document presents concepts that are fundamental to make this model of art distinguishable, as well as show technologic and artistic experimentations about the practical process of production. |
