Resumo: | This research covers the implications of the use of digital technologies for the work in basic education, with focus on the changes in the role of teachers. We start from the observation that teachers use digital technologies in their work and that, for the past few years, their work has been incorporating computer tools. Through the monitoring of classes in computer labs, or in the classroom besides interviews, data collection and bibliographic research , we tried to identify how teachers have been using digital resources in their work process. We verified that, in private and public schools that have computer labs, teachers are already using digital technologies in their pedagogic work, causing implications in their own work process. We present these implications of the use of digital technologies in the teacher work in for categories: autonomy and control, intensification of the teacher work, diversification of teaching categories, and impacts in the pedagogic work. As results, we indicate there is an ambiguity in the use of digital technologies, since it favors autonomy and creativity of the teacher in elaborating new pedagogic activities, at the same time it causes a stronger control and intensification of the teacher work. Therefore, it is sure it is un course a process of creation of a new teacher who uses digital technologies as an extra tool for his or her laborious role of educating. |
