Resumo: | This dissertation was developed in the Research Line Technological Education and Society, in the Stricto Sensu Course of Professional Master in Education of FAE UFMG. This study is within the scope of research on education and technology and proposes an approach on the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) in Distance Education (DE) in Higher Education, with the general objective of analyzing the possibilities of the use and applications of the Moodle platform pedagogical tools used by the teachers in the Bachelor of Public Administration Bachelor Degree in EaD / FAPP / UEMG. This research aimed, therefore, to understand the factors involved in the choice of Moodle's pedagogical tools in the applied Social Sciences courses, based on the understanding and identification of the reflexes of the use of Moodle tools by teachers in the Teaching Learning process. The research consisted of a qualitative and quantitative approach, data were collected through interviews, analysis of official course documents and observation of the virtual environment of the course under the Open University of Brazil (UAB) Program. The conceptions and characteristics of distance education were approached in order to broaden the understanding of the functionality of ICD in the educational context, and their contributions to higher education. In this sense, the VLEs were presented for the description of their functionalities in the distance learning, being carried out a research with the teachers of the course, allowing to verify which the choices and the ways of use in the virtual learning environment (VLE) Moodle UEMG and their possibilities of application in the offer under analysis. The data will identify which Moodle tools are most used by teachers in the course under study and which brought a better return on learning, which will allow a new understanding of the processes of construction and qualified dissemination of knowledge in this course. offer, with the intention at the end of presenting different types of digital tools to be used in VLE Moodle that can contribute to the teaching practice and the improvement of interactivity in the distance education offers. |
