Resumo: This doctoral thesis on Collaborative Art, aims to demonstrate the importance of the ways in which group conflicts are managed. To approach this theme, we started with the following questions: What is the importance of visualizing the organization and structure implicit in such artistic initiatives? What agency devices and tactics are used as supports to mediate conflicts? What is the importance of these for the constitution of collaborative propositions? Given that, if negotiations and ways of appeasing socio-cultural differences and conflicts do not appear in the documentary records of these propositions, we have as a consequence an absence of visual and theoretical information on situations that, in the case of convivial artistic propositions, are parts constituents of the works. In this sense, it is essential to map the “typologies of conflicts” (DEUTCH, 2009), the “structures and organizations” (MATURANA, 1998), the notion of “deviation” (BECKER, 2001) and how these theoretical structures help to give transparency to unsuspected layers of conflicts in the field of Collaborative Art. From this panorama, it appears that the conflict can not only be broken down into a rich typology, but configures itself a typology in the arts of collaboration. The recognition of these typologies gives us access to other paradigms of reflection on the theme, expanding possibilities in its critical, ethical and political approach. By giving visibility to the conflictual processes inherent to this artistic category, it is expected to address surprising aspects in its understanding and confrontation.
