Resumo: The order of Brazilian space has been produced and reproduced despite of the contradictions, conflicts, fissures, changes. From the Land Law of 1850, that marks the creation of the land base of the modern Brazilian project, to the Law n. 13,465 of 2017, which seeks at the same time to strengthen and update this base, the production and reproduction of the urban space are carried out according to a planning logic which we call the architecture of the police. On the other hand, the development of struggles and urban social movements, the intense critical urban academic debate, the metamorphoses of capitalism, urban social achievements on the global stage, the development of critical urban planning, the tendency towards greater formalization of social and expansion of popular participation channels, popular pressures, technical activism, technological development, all these factors contributed to the fact that Brazilian modern urban history was not linear, totally predictable or lacking in significant changes. Political architectures are been realized, defining small universes of production, of creation, in the processes of reproduction of space. In this sense, emancipation in planning is defined in its overflow as urban praxis and as a double emancipation, its specialized agents and other social agents. Autonomy produces political experience of space by contesting the space reproduction logics that certain word-thing and sense-experience identifications produce, as well as the meanings that the same word or expression can have in one world and another world, Law and the law, the plan and the Plan, politics and politics, participation and participation, or the social function and social function of property. Based on a reflection on (re) production of Brazilian space in general, we seek to discuss the structuring and reproduction of planning in particular, aiming to contribute to the debate about the possibilities of a critical redefinition and a political action, under the conditions of space reproduction.
