Resumo: The objective of the work is to identify how influence systems and power manifest themselves in na transnational metallurgic company that develops operations in the international seamless steel tubes market. With this aim, a bibliographical study is developed starting analysis of the paradigms in the social sciences incorporating the conception radicalstructural theoreticians and the model formulated by Mintzberg for the discussion of power in organizational theory as a foundation of the work. The methodology of the work based on qualitative research, uses the analysis of discourse as na instrument to uncover the persuasionstrategies involving the players in the universe of corporate activities that look to guarantee relations of domination and subordination. For the identification of how external and internal influences to the organization participate in the realtions of power, a historical trajectory of the corporation is constructed in different contexts under different circunstances and times, from the birth to the transference of the productive unit, to the organization, for Brazil, in 1954, and the posterior joint venture with a new strategic partner as major shareholder in thelast decade of the last century. As a result of the formation of the strategic alliance, the reality of the constitution of na internal political arena in the organization is presented by virtue of the changes in course objectifying the promotion of cohesion in its interior, as well as the portrayal of new forms of administration of the influence of the organization on society leadby management under motto of the social accountability.
