Possibilidades e limitações nas práticas pedagógicas no ensino superior: uma análise do material didático e dos recursos de tecnologia assistiva acessíveis as pessoas com deficiência visual

Resumo: The aim of this work is to analyze teaching material and assistive technology resources that are used by visually impaired students in attending and distance learning courses of higher education, focusing on their possibilities and limitations. The course was developed for Moodle platform with NVDA (Non Visual Desktop Access) as an auxiliary recourse. Methods were based on bibliographical and documental reviews and sought links among such issues, discussing this matter in order to: verify if learning material are accessible to visually impaired students at higher education; analyze if it is possible to fix inappropriate material; evaluate advances in the inclusion of physically disabled people. Result shows it is necessary that teachers and other professionals plan and adapt learning material. The work to adapt course texts became essential to ensure good education to visually impaired students, giving them all the support they may need to the teaching-learning process. Then, this work proposes an action plan named Guide of accessibility in the production of learning material oriented to visually impaired students. This guide is supposed to make major contribution to the inclusion of visually impaired students at higher education and to help teachers and other professionals to adapt learning material to inclusive education.
