Resumo: | This work presents a study on the pianist's repertoire for piano and voice and, based on some case studies, proposes an investigation that is able to promote the exploration of the expressiveness of pianists who use their voice not only paying attention to technical aspects but also presenting possibilities of new readings of the musical work, in dialogue with multiple arts. After historically contextualizing the repertoire that unites music and spoken voice and retracing how it may have evolved over the years, a nomenclature in Portuguese is suggested for the pianist who uses his voice: pianista vozeante, (vocalizing pianist). The theatrical studies presented here promoted the deconstruction of the pianist's traditional corporeity. And by expanding and diversifying the possibilities of creation and execution, the pianista vozeante resignifies the performer's role and, in turn, the audience's experience. This work is substantiated by the foundation of an interpretation that finds in interdisciplinarity an element that integrates the structure of the score to the performer's creative expression, i.e., a way to strengthen their creative freedom. |
