Resumo: | This thesis aims to analyze Rede Globo´s comedy show Tá no ar: TV na TV. We assume that this TV program criticizes through the laughter. It uses criticism as a resource to make people laugh, by judging and imputing values. In this research, we chose two subjects criticized in the comedy show: the TV channel Rede Globo and the television itself. We try to understand how it criticized both of them. For that, we outline an analysis from three procedures: organizing the skits (based on Content Analysis); analyzing the framing or the frames of meaning (BATESON, 2002; GOFFMAN, 2002, 2012) of two skits that stood out during the Content Analysis (Jardim Urgente e Militante); clarifying the parameters that configure a critical device, part of the social media response system (BRAGA, 2006). We understand that the TV program embodies the opposition and has "freedom to tell the truth", so it is possible to compare the attraction to the figure of Court Jester. Debating from common perspectives and disagreements, we seek to inscribe our object in a wider social context of "cynicism and bankruptcy of criticism" (SAFATLE, 2008). |
