Resumo: The anorexia and bulimia usually are severe and causing bottlenecks in the conduct of treatment. This research aims to investigate and formalize the methodology of the Clinical Case Construction, based in psychoanalytic theory, as a monitoring tool, clarification and assistance in the conduct of clinical conditions of patients with specific symptoms anorexics and bulimics treated at Nucleus Research of Anorexia and Bulimia of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (NIAB). The sample was purposive and included one case of Anorexia Nervosa and another ofBulimia Nervosa. Given the peculiarities of functioning of NIAB, it was taken as a third clinical case from which it was possible to formalize its work experience. The Clinical Case Construction, guided by the theory of psychoanalysis and the interdisciplinary effort, proved to be a powerful tool for organizing health care services and for conduction of treatment of patients with eating symptoms. This method, to enhance the physician-patient relation and the uniqueness of each case, proposes a return to the clinic in a classical sense, differing itself from attempts touniversalize of the current medicine that, especially in this field of research, dont hold as guiding clinical for driving the case by case.
