Resumo: | This work aims to carry out a descriptive and analytical mapping of the magazine A Galéra, published in Coimbra between 1914 and 1915, focusing especially on its last issue: a double edition in honor of the poet António Nobre, in order to understand how this figure was read and thought of by other writers in the early 20th century. Based on the criticisms of Paula Morão (1996), Ricardo Nobre (2020), Cleonice Berardinelli (2001), Fernando Curopos (2018), Guilherme de Castilho (1977), Annie Fernandes (1996) and others, besides the readings on the theory of poetry, going through names such as Hugo Friedrich (1978), Alfonso Berardinelli (2007a, 2007b) and Michael Hamburguer (2007a, 2007b), we will seek to clarify why António Nobre, who is recognized for his exercise focused on formal exploration and his thematic articulations around the poetic subject, of nostalgia, death and a Portuguese tradition, continues to resonate in the literature that was done in that period and later, attracting the Portuguese literary youth of 1915. |
