Resumo: | Analyzed the spatial and temporal distribution of Hantavirus Cardiopulmonary Syndrome (HCPS) and its relationship with the major land uses variables in the state of Minas Gerais. Secondary data from HCPS human cases from 1998 to 2007, SINAN, occurred with the hightest concentration between the months of March and August, 148 cases (76.7%). We identified 41 municipalities in the Triângulo Mineiro/Alto Paranaíba, 130 cases (67.36%), Sul/Sudoeste, 44 cases (22.8%), Oeste, 10 cases (5.2%) and Central de Minas, 3 cases (1.6%) mesoregions. Three clusters of PSI were identified by Satscan 7.0 from 1998 to 2002 (p = 0.000059), 2003 (p = 0.020) and 2007 (p = 0.0018). There was reclassification of the area planted, increasing the area of crops and decreasing the area of pastures and planted forests, the variables of the land, Agricultural Census of 1995-96 and 2006.The source of information used to analyze the distribution of land occupation according to the major land uses variables in Minas Gerais were the 1995-96 and 2006 Agricultural Census. The major land uses variables listed in this study were permanent crops, temporary crops, planted pasture, natural pasture, natural forest, planted forest and unusable land. The study area comprised 41 municipalities of Triângulo Mineiro/Alto Paranaíba, Central Mineira, Sul/Sudoeste de Minas and Oeste de Minas mesoregions and Alfenas, Divinópolis, Patos de Minas, Passos, Uberaba and Uberlândia Regional Health Services (RHS). For the analysis principal component (ACP), Stata 12.0, variables were analyzed for major land uses (1995-96 and 2006) and HCPS. There was a higher association of cases of SCPH pasture planted and natural forests, and crops of corn, beans, sugar cane and rice also have an association, but less significant. Among these cultures, rice is the mission associated with the appearance of cases of SCPH. By the analysis of spatial and temporal distribution of HCPS cases it was concluded that major land uses are relevants factors of HCPS spatial and temporal distribution in Minas Gerais. |
