Resumo: | The objective of this research is to analyze and compare two Artistic Collectives of Minas Gerais: the Obscena- Agrupamento Independente de Pesquisa Cênica (Belo Horizonte city, MG) and the Grupo Transeuntes- Estudos Sobre Performance (São João del-Rei city - MG),which perform urban interventions in their respective cities. The idea is to accomplish a study about aesthetic experiences that goes beyond the marketing dominated fields in the cities and beyond the privatization of public spaces, proposing experiences which alow narrowing therelationship with the viewer during the daily life of cities. Therefore, we carried out a literature review on the concepts of "everyday life", "discourse", "urban interventions" and "performativity", aiming to analyze artistic actions as a political and social proposition in the present days. From the understanding of these concepts, we have made a case study about the actions of these Artistic Collectives in question. The goal was to identify certain performative nature works that, among other things, aimed to create small changes in the eyes of passersby view regarding the segmentation in the use of public spaces - which are increasingly asepticand gentrified. The artistic actions (or procedures) selected were the ones which took place directly on the streets and public spaces of Belo Horizonte (MG) and São João del-Rei city (MG), respectively. The analysis of these shares was based on their observation - as they werehappening -, and also: on the survey of audio-visual records of these Artistic Collectives, on interviews with researchers, and on testimonials posted in the blogs of both Artistic Collectives talking about the process of their artistic creation. From this analysis, we came to the conclusion that the aforementioned Artistic Collectives seek to absorb the practices ofperformativity from the streets and other public spaces, enhancing the look of this scene under the guise of urban intervention. |
