Resumo: | The last decade it had great expansion of the college education, mainly in a private education with significant increase of the new curses and University, stimulated from Ministry of the Education. The graduation courses magnify in Nursing is part of this scene and the results offers more space for nurses teaching and in a courses direction. Relative about the controller function it has qualification requirement technique in the nursing area and in figure out, acording to the criteria of the college education in Brazil. The controller occupies strategical function in the IES, as the responsable one for the pedagogical and administrative results of the course. In this direction we opt to do a study of the case with objective to identify the profile and the management actions for the controller from the graduation Nursing Course by University Center and Minas Gerais Universities. The data had been collected by the proper resercher, in a interview, with controller of the Nursing Course 35 University and 11 University Center in Minas, being 13% public institutions and 87% private institutions.The data related to the profile, that belong the quantitative part of the study had been organized in graphs and tables and relative the quantitative information to the manegement actions had been submitted to analyze of speech, which 2 (two) categories emerged: The trajectory of the courses controllers of nursing graduation course and the attributions of the directors course. The results show that 89,1% of the controllers are women and 10,9% men, predominating people in theirs 30 to 49 years old (65,1%), then 93,4% nurses and 6,6% other. All of the interviewees (50%) are masters or doctor and 54,4% have another link of work in a health area or education, beyond director of Nursing Course. Relative to a professional experience and link with the IES, it was possible to check that 43,4% work as controllers less than 1 year., 60,8% work full time, 52,1% work in a college school less than 5 years and 91,3% work more than 5 years as a professional. The controllers function gave the opportunity to be invited, indicated, elected and other selections process according to local reality and IES philosophy, taking in consideration the experience as nurse or professor. There is no requirement qualification manegement in education area to assume the position or work, as well as small the percentual of the masters and doctors. The controllers exert some activities related to the course, sinse planning, relations with students and relatives and aspects control related to the infrastructure function, presenting little ability to delegate, being with a little time destined to the planning. Some participate of the deliberative agencies fo the IES, although to center its concerns in the daily actions of the course. This study evidenced that the controllers in the courses of graduation in Nursing in the State of Minas Gerais are little qualified for the manegement, as well as the requirements demanded for the agencies of evaluation of the MEC. This situation aggravates in front of the fast and continues expansion for the Nursing Course in Minas Gerais State. |
