Resumo: | This work identifies and analyzes the discourse-lexico-visual organization and strategics that were applied by Plástica e beleza magazine, in reportings that encourage esthetical plastic surgeries to ladies readers that belong to assumed distincts races. The theorical presuppositions base are: Critical discourse analysis, by Norman Fairclough, Social semiotics, by Hodge and Kress, Multimodal discourse, Kress and Van Leeuwen and systemic-functional Linguistics, by Michael Halliday. As well as Kress (1997) and Thompson (1995) works to social actors and operation´s ideologic mode investigation. The sentence study, based on the transitivity system by Halliday, is the analysis´s startingpoint. The focus is put a collective identities, social actors, the used modes that are inserted on the corpus to consider assumed representations, like racial or ethnical, and, still, an assumed form of an identity hierarchies of semiotic landscape; in which there is a dicourse that develops and associates beauty physical and subjects related to race and feminine self-esteem. |
