Resumo: The built Cultural Heritage, in its development and its sets, is intrinsically and interdependently related to the development of cities, this heritage corroborates with the attribution of characteristics and identity to these cities. Based on this understanding, this study addresses the issue of Cultural Heritage Inventories and their relationship with urban planning, guided by the concepts of Integrated Urban Conservation and Historic Urban Landscape (HUL). Such study is necessary due to the need to conserve and safeguard the heritages that show the history of cities, that is, their built heritage as a whole, while the city develops. The objective of this research is to identify the possibilities and potential of the inventoried built cultural heritage in guiding guidelines and policies for urban planning, guided by Integrated Conservation and Historic Urban Landscape (HUL), taking the city of Três Corações - MG as an object of study. It begins with a bibliographical research associated with a documentary research, aided by field investigations, analyzing the inventoried assets of the municipality, their relationships with the urban fabric and their contexts, and the possibility of associating these analyzes to guide and substantiate local legislation to safeguard heritage. It is believed that, based on the inventoried heritage, it is possible to know the areas of the city that require better attention in terms of preservation and thus promote assertive urban planning that encourages the safeguarding of cultural heritage, referring to the principles and strategies of Integrated Conservation and its contemporary aspects, the Historic Urban Landscape (HUL).
