Resumo: | The cities’ movement is intense as we witness several insurgencies taking the city as the main stage and as the central object of demands. Event and the city proposes the assembly of a possible constellation of the urban event, in which the main points are the virtual theory, that helps us to think the lefebvrian urban and also deals with other relations from the pair space and user; the event read by the pragmatic tradition; the social movements in the cities – in forms of episodic agglomerations and the emancipatory struggles, both directly linked to the material space and the right to city –; the people that embody these insurgencies – after all, there is no radical separation between collective and individual experience –; the spheres and spaces that pressure the constellar elements. Instead of appearing in a cutout, the social and spatial practices are called upon and revealed as theoretical illustrations within the 21st century. They deal with deviated actions from the people, which are linked to the actualization of spaces during and after the event. Therefore, it is proposed a theoretical overview that traces, riskily, several connections between these constellar points and helps in the reading the social movements of the cities. |
