Resumo: | The accelerated growth of large urban centers, combined with the uneven distribution of green areas, has significant impacts on the harmony and quality of life in cities. In the Brazilian context, urban regulations prioritize guidelines for the built environment at the expense of managing - in terms of conservation, creation, and optimization - green areas. Through the characterization, territorial analysis, and proposition of potential strategies, this work aims to discuss the importance and potential use of vegetative cover in cities, as well as the repercussions of its absence. The methodology is supported by a contemporary multi-scalar planning trend, starting from the macro-scale (context analysis) to the main object of study, moving from regional scale, through urban scale, finally reaching the local and intra-urban scale. This allows for understanding and planning considering the relationship between different scales and presenting possibilities for improving environmental quality from a broad perspective to daily life. The investigation results in a summary of green-sensitive design strategies, as well as urban tools, interventions, and parameters at the local scale; all with the potential to enhance urban characteristics related to green infrastructure and environmental quality. Through an experimental approach, the dissertation aimed to represent and analyze spatial sections at various scales. As a result, it presented a collection of alternative environmental parameters designed to be applied in future Geodesign workshops, aiming to enhance landscape alteration propositions through a shared process. |
