Resumo: Innovation management and methods to evaluate organizations of information technology in countries like Brazil is a problem for government agencies and foundations that try to accomplish sustainable development. Organizations are required to take into consideration financial and operation indicators. This dissertation supplied considerations about efficiency evaluation on innovation of Fumsoftassociated companies. Data came from 28 associated organizations. The research used non-parametric method Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) - (CHARNES, COOPER, RHODES, 1978) to evaluate the efficiency of these companies. The appropriated model was Variable Retum to Scale (VRS) - (BANKER, CHARNES, COOPER, 1984) output oriented. Methodology focused on innovation production metrics. Inputs were number of employees and number Of masters or PhDs. On the Other hand, outputs were billing amount, number Of successfull innovation projects and participation of new products/services in the billing. The result was the relative technical efficiency frontier where companies were classified as efficient or inefficient. Benchmarks were supphed. In cloclusion, eleven associated companies of Fumsoft operates as efficient although nine have margin to improve their performanceon the total of twenty analised companies.
