Resumo: This work aims to explore the writing of a news media made by a non-governmental organization, in order to understand the textualization strategies of a homemade journalistic device. We refer to a newsletter entitled Prioridade Absoluta (Absolute Priority), which has been originally idealized as a sort of story idea sent to the press. That material is produced since 2000 by the NGO Oficina de Imagens, in the scope of its activities as an organization member of Rede ANDI Brasil, a network devoted to improve the media attention to child and adolescent rights. Our analysis started with a lecture of the different vocations of that object. Then, we identified, within the 429 editions collected, some elements as information sources and thematic issues. On the third stage of our research, we specified our lecture through the analysis of the actantial functions classified within a specific sample of texts: those editions which discussed the disciplinary measures for adolescents engaged in delinquency acts. Considering that the newsletter affects the journalistic writing of the events, although it does not face them directly, we were able to glimpse a sort of prophetical writing. Based on those observations, we propose some questions about the relation between journalism and the way it deals with events related to the universe of childhood and adolescence.
