This dissertation deals with the possibility of application of arbitration as an alternative means of resolving disputes and controversies in technology transfer contracts with scientific and technological public institutions. The New Regulatory Framework of Innovation and Technology Transfer and Licensing Agreements were analyzed, taking into account the encouragement of partnerships involving Public Institutions of Science and Technology. The general aspects of the new Innovation Act, Technology Transfer and Licensing Agreements and the application of arbitration were presented, demonstrating the importance of each point and highlighting key aspects that enable public ICTs to apply arbitration as an alternative means for dispute resolution in Technology Transfer and Licensing Agreements.
