Resumo: | The present text is a legal study with ethnographic inspiration. The work studiesthe rules of internal living together - here called intramuros normative microcodes(rules within the walls of the prison) - which exist among foreign prisoners inBrazilian prisons. The aim of the research is to analyze the legal norms that arecreated by foreign prisoners and how these norms relate to their culture. In thiscontext a study was made on the relationship between juridicity and ethnicity, where eight conversations/interviews were carried out with different prisoners offoreign nationalities in three different prisons - for example, at the PenitentiaryCabo PM Marcelo Pires da Silva of Itaí, São Paulo, which is the only exclusiveprison for foreigners in Brazil. Finally, the paper also analyzes the methodology ofresearch in prisons and their singularities - for example, the dialogical proceduresfor collecting information in prison and the fragmentation of the research (thedifficulties to enter the prison fieldwork). |
