The aplication of mortar on concrete surfaces is a frequent activity, in external and internal coverings. However, a great difficulty of setting the mortar on concrete surfaces has been observed, resulting in various problems for the industry of the civil construction. So, a difficulty of bond between the mortar and the surface of concrete has been occurred. This work has the objective of study the bond behavior of the prepare mortar on concrete surfaces, defining the more efficient system, fixing a procedure of preparation of the concrete and studying the best type of cement to be used in the mortar. The effect of the influence of introduction of adhesive admixture, based on PVAc (polyvinyl acetate), was already tested . From the gotten results, the mortar covering application was perfectly concluded to be possible on concrete surfaces
