Resumo: | Social projects carried out by Third Sector Organizations are based, in general, in intentions and actions to solve social problems. However, to verify changes in a social reality must be the achievement of the evaluation process to quantify and qualify the effects of the actions accomplished. In recent years, the demand for that kind of evaluation has grow in the world mainly due to expectation of donors in to know the result of theirs donations (FRASSON, 2001). Moreover, another reason for carrying out evaluation of the social projects is that it, seen from the point of view of administration, is an indispensable tool for the systematizationdissemination of informations and, consequently, for the decision-making process. In this context, this research described and analyzed as four Third Sector Organizatons, from Belo Horizonte, that work in the area of social assistance, evaluate theirs social projects. Also, examined if the relationship between organizations and donors influenced the evaluations of those. For this, there was a study of multiple cases, qualitative-descriptive, through which to analyze using to the method of content analysis 19 interview and 31 documents. The resultsshowed that the majority actions identified can not be classified as Project. About evaluations, saw that it´s a incipient process, concentrated practice in the evaluation of processes and goals and issues related to effectiveness. Nevertheless, found that the evaluative practices have beensufficient to satisfy the demands of donors for informations on the results generated from theirs donations. About the relation between organizations and donors, saw that the evaluative practices are influenced by the interests of their donors. However, can not be said that such practices are only the resulting factor mentioned. |
