Resumo: | The present PhD thesis sought to understand how female scientists, feminist psychologists have integrated the scientific field, mainly, how and why they have produced psychological science. In these terms, we sought to investigate the contributions of the insertion of the feminist perspective for how to do science, taking into account the disciplinary field of psychology. The present research problem unfolded in the following specific objectives: 1) to investigate the insertion and the participation of the feminist scientists in the psychological field with regard to the tensions between the scientific doing and the experience of being a woman in the world; 2) to analyze the scientific production of intellectuals from the conceptions of science and scientific subject present in their speeches; 3) to know the epistemological and methodological apparatus of the academic productions of scientists, with special attention to the subject and object relationship; 4) understand the horizon of self and social transformation proposed by feminist theorists in their productions. Sandra Maria da Mata Azêredo (UFMG), Jaileila de Araújo Menezes (UFPE), Paula Rita Bacellar Gonzaga (UFSB) and Elcimar Dias Pereira (UFG) were the participants in this research. The semistructured interview and the analysis of academic production based methodologically the research which understood the experience as a category of analysis for the understanding of social reality. The weaving of the spoken and written stories that form webs of meaning that can be understood and interpreted from a feminist perspective. The conclusions point out that the investigated scientists are eager to construct other modes of science in the daily practice of their research, in the ways of compacting and breaking with the rites of traditional science, in establishing the production/dissemination patterns of the produced knowledge, in compromising with the social transformation with special attention to the reality of women and the relationship with the researched subjects. In a movement of invention of themselves, the intellectuals constitute an open network of meanings for the understanding of the social relations, of the processes of subjectivation and signification of the subjects in their researches. In an analytical exercise, they aim to establish a dynamic between social and scientific needs. They invite us to think about the scientific practice in psychology from the idea of positionality. For them, problematizing the hegemonic tradition in the everyday practice of teaching, research and extension is related to an ethical commitment with the subject investigated from the horizontality and the recognition that knowledge only takes place in relation. What is materialized in a social implication of researchers in the psi field, demands political positioning, social engagement and doubts in a persistent hermeneutics of the suspicion about the investigative process itself. For them, positioning, criticality and situated knowledges compose another epistemic triad that compares with the scientific rigor and methodological, epistemological and ontological coherence that constitute the presuppositions that underpin the investigative process in psychology. |
