This thesis develops a critical and comparative analysis of the fictional production of António Lobo Antunes, a contemporary Portuguese writer. From a corpus constituted of twelve works that contemplate since his very first publication (1979) until the present moment of his writing (2009), this research focuses on some aspects in terms of theme and structure that together suggest an unusual, disjunctive and dishierarchical textuality here named as textuality in negative.
