Resumo: | This work is a study which has a descriptive outline and it focuses the investigative analysis on how technical development occurs with children in learning to play the violin. In order to enrich this work, we should consider some aspects of the Cognitive and Development Psychology, which refer to different and specific ages that are between three and seven years old. We have selected ten technical criteria to evaluate the childrens development, during a period of a year. These criteria were analyzed in a repertoire of fifty pieces, with different styles and gradation levels of difficulty. For this research we observed violin students from Allegretto, a Musical Educational Center located in Belo Horizonte. This Center develops a consistent musical work with children and also with teenagers and adults. The results shown in this study are initial and they deserve receive deeper investigation in the future. |
