Resumo: | Collaborative systems are increasingly popular, however, their evaluation remains a complex task. Its complexity is increased by the difficulty to define what to evaluate, and consequently which method would be best suited to evaluate such focus, identifying the main problems. One way to generate information about methods is by comparing them. Thus, identifying what information each method could identify, in order to help in deciding on which method would the most interesting in a given context. Thus, this work proposes and discusses qualitative evaluation criteria that enable the comparison of evaluation methods proposed by the Semiotic Engineering theory - SIM , CEMg and Manas . To do so, we performed case studies in which these methods were applied to collaborative systems . The problems identiified by each method were then classified according to the defined criteria, resulting in the characterization of the focus of each method. This characterization aimed at supporting evaluators in deciding among these methods when evaluating a collaborative system in a given context. Furthermore, they generate more data about the Semiotic Engineering methods and contribute to their consolidation. |
